Project: Paragon D&E

Project Information: This facility addition is one of many over the past few decades to add manufacturing capacity to Paragon D&E. The space was created to house two very large horizontal boring mills with a capability to work on projects up to 75’ in length and a weight up to 100 tons. The manufacturing floor is served by two bridge cranes, one 70 ton and one 40 ton which can be combined for a total capacity of 110 tons. Paragon’s two mills set on a 14’ thick foundation and have the capabilities to cut material at a rate requiring a scrap disposal system. This was a phased project as we were required to keep constant building security and shipping open at all times.
