With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Byrne’s journey began humbly, working as a laborer right out of high school and throughout college. That early, hands-on experience instilled in him the grit, work ethic, and deep respect for the trades that continue to shape his leadership today.
As president of FCC Construction for the past 15 years, Byrne has been instrumental in building a trusted team and a strong company culture rooted in integrity, hard work, and accountability. He’s deeply passionate about nurturing relationships and takes immense pride in every project—knowing that delivering a high-quality product and exceeding client expectations is the foundation of FCC’s reputation.
In his role, Byrne leads the company’s strategic vision and oversees all business operations across divisions.
Beyond FCC, his commitment to the industry has been recognized by peers—earning him a board position with the Associated Builders and Contractors of West Michigan. There, his leadership helped champion the creation of the West Michigan Construction Institute, a pivotal initiative focused on workforce development and preparing the next generation of trades professionals to sustain and grow the region’s construction economy.

For over 15 years, Dave has played a vital role in FCC Construction’s growth and evolution. His journey with the company began in the field, working hands-on through college, giving him a strong foundation and deep understanding of the industry from the ground up.
With experience ranging from superintendent to project manager, Dave now serves as Director of Construction, leading the Construction Management and General Contracting division. His passion for building—both projects and relationships—has been instrumental in expanding FCC’s presence in West Michigan’s commercial construction market.
Dave is a firm believer that organizational success starts with the team. Empowering people to lead, grow, and thrive is a core part of his leadership philosophy. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, he works closely with clients and design teams, guiding projects through preconstruction, development, and design/build phases to ensure thoughtful, effective solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Since joining FCC Construction almost 20 years ago, Wendy has brought financial leadership and strategic direction to the organization. Starting her career in the mechanical industry, she is now the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for financial planning and tactical matters within the company.
Her background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning has helped guide the company’s financial strategy, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes as FCC has grown and evolved. Wendy brings a thoughtful and steady hand to decisions. She’s known for her practical approach, sharp eye for detail, and the way she works to support smart, sustainable growth. Wendy’s long-standing dedication to FCC Construction reflects her passion for building not just a strong company-but strong relationships, too.

Since joining FCC Construction in 2005, Jeff has brought a deep knowledge of the industry, shaped by hands-on experience and a strong educational foundation. He began his career in the field as an ironworker and, after college, returned to FCC before transitioning into project management in 2008. His ability to bridge both field and office operations has made him a key member of the company’s leadership.
In 2016, Jeff was named Director of Steel Operations, where he oversees all aspects of FCC’s steel divisions—including estimating, detailing, fabrication, structural steel, and pre-engineered steel. Under his leadership, FCC earned its AISC certification for both fabrication and erection, establishing a nationally recognized standard for quality and setting FCC apart in the industry.
Jeff’s dedication, experience, and forward-thinking leadership continue to be instrumental in FCC Construction’s success and future growth.

With over 15 years of construction management experience, Brock brings deep expertise in complex, high-stakes projects—from multi-story healthcare and corporate office spaces to advanced technology and industrial manufacturing facilities. Known for his steady leadership and technical acumen, Brock plays a vital role in FCC Construction’s continued growth and success.
As Senior Project Manager, Brock leads by example—mentoring and developing CM managers and superintendents while overseeing design-build and CM design-assist projects. His background as a hands-on project manager provides valuable insight during the preconstruction phase, where his strengths in planning, constructability, scheduling, and scope management help ensure every project gets off to a strong start.
Brock is also a key contributor to company-wide process and performance improvements. His leadership supports consistent project delivery, sharp cost control, and a unified management approach across teams—helping FCC deliver with excellence at every level.

With over 37 years of experience in the construction industry, Terry brings unmatched leadership, loyalty, and dedication to FCC Construction. He plays a critical role in leading field operations for structural steel erection projects, combining technical expertise with a deep commitment to team development and project excellence.
Terry oversees and coordinates all field activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. From estimating and scheduling to performance tracking and on-site problem-solving, his work ensures each project meets FCC’s high standards. He is skilled at analyzing plans and identifying opportunities to streamline operations, avoid delays, and enhance overall performance.
As a mentor and team leader, Terry fosters a culture of professionalism, accountability, and growth—guiding field employees and supporting their success on and off the jobsite. His proven track record, attention to detail, and strong communication skills make him a vital part of FCC’s continued success in structural steel operations.
