Project Information: FCC Construction delivered a three-story, multi-level mini storage facility for U-Haul in Walker, Michigan, overcoming significant site constraints caused by a limited laydown area. To manage the tight site, FCC implemented an 11-phase steel erection sequence for the 200-ton structural frame, which included more than 800 steel beams.

Careful sequencing, material delivery coordination, and daily field management allowed multiple trades to work simultaneously while maintaining safety and progress. Through detailed pre-planning and experienced steel erection oversight, FCC completed the project efficiently despite the challenging site conditions.
