Project: Greenville Tool & Die Addition

Project Information:FCC Construction expanded Greenville Tool & Die’s 96,000 SF facility by nearly 14,000 SF. Originally a 1,500 SF building from 1946, the site posed major challenges, including relocating 450 feet of retaining wall 35 feet into a steep embankment to make space for the addition and a new 32-foot-wide truck lane. Proximity to a swamp and a high water table required two weeks of dewatering and installation of 63 pilings. The project included a 47-foot-tall IMP structure and precise integration with the existing facility—all completed while maintaining active manufacturing operations.
